DLVI is established and administered by the Aquliati Samaj Kalyan Society Bihar, Pandh Dalsinghsarai Dist-Samastipur. The society was founded by Minhazul Haque Zaidi. This institute is affiliated to Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University, Patna.

1. Objective: To develop and equip the students with essential knowledge and skill in order to develop expertise in the key areas of computing service and information technology. Students will be familiarized with the concepts of Computer Science and its various application. It is a training based programme which will develop practical skill to enable them to become solution provider.
2. Eligibility: 10+2 or its equivalent examination passed candidates from a recognized Board including Madrasa Education Board Bihar, in Arts/Science/Commerce securing 45% marks in the aggregate. Preference will be given to students having mathematics and English as subjects in +2 examination.
3. Duration: Three years degree programme consisting of three academic years each divided into two semesters of six months duration.

   2. Medium of Instructions: English.
   3. Seat Limit : Sixty (60) seats in each batch.
   4. Training: Training facility to be provided as per the requirement of the course at the KRCs.

5. Course Structure: The course is divided into six semesters each consisting of four papers i.e. three theories and one practical. For the theory papers students will be examined in two parts, there will be University examination of 80 marks and Internal Assessment of 20 marks. Marks for the Internal Assessment will be awarded on the basis of assignments, term–end test and attendance.

1. Objective: To train and demonstrate students with various elements in knowledge management. The course will demonstrate application of new technologies IT services in management of modern libraries. It will also familiarize the students with recent development of best practices in Library Management.
2. Eligibility: A candidate seeking admission must be a graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce (with minimum 45% marks) or equivalent (Alim) from recognized Madrasa/Board.
3. Duration: One year.

5. All examinations of BLIS will be conducted at the University headquarters at Patna
6. Course Structure: There shall be total eight papers of 100 Marks each out of which five shall be theory paper (written examination) which shall consist of two parts. (a) Written Examination carrying 80Marks and (b) Evaluation of Internal Assignment carrying 20 Marks. Two practical papers and one Project Work having viva-voce Examination carrying 100 Marks each. The University Reserves the right to announce or change the examination pattern or syllabus.
